Following the success of the Objective One funded HONEY Newquay project (Hotel’s of Newquay Enhance Yourself) Government Office for the South West requested Nfet roll it out as a Cornwall-wide programme – now operating as honey2cornwall.
honey2cornwall is available to hotel and guest accommodation proprietors in Cornwall subject to eligibility. The aim of honey2cornwall is to be an exclusive club with extensive long term benefits. These benefits are based around a central core of 5 disciplines: marketing approach, guest service, support systems, pricing strategy and physical environment.
With the support of a Business Mentor all five disciplines will be addressed at a greater or lesser level for each h2c member and changes and improvements to your business will be made accordingly. You will have access to a team of industry specialists and scheduled workshops covering the five disciplines, with the opportunity along the way to achieve or improve on a National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) for serviced accommodation.
There is one membership fee of £750 (plus vat at the current rate). With total project funding in excess of £6 million and limited membership, this will equate to thousands of pounds worth of professional assistance per business.
Through participation in the scheme Capital Grants of up to £30,000 can also be applied for. These grants will support your particular aspirations during the honey2cornwall programme.
