How we will operate the scheme
NfET will inspect properties in accordance with the VisitCornwall Approved Inspection Scheme criteria and will follow all stated procedures. We will inspect in the following categories:
- Hotels, Guest Houses, Bed & Breakfasts, Farmhouses & Inns
- Self-Catering Accommodation
- Holiday, Touring & Camping Parks
Where we will cover?
We will be offering inspections across all areas of Cornwall.
How much will it cost?
Fees will be priced competitively and we will operate a basic annual core assessment fee of £70 per establishment plus a sliding scale fee based on the number of letting units/rooms offered.

We are completely independent and not linked to any trade association. We have worked extensively with tourism and hospitality businesses for 16 years and have a reputation for excellent service, expertise and impartiality.

What will the potential client get for their money?
NfET inspected properties will be entitled to become members of VisitCornwall and their local Tourist Information Centre [additional fee payable] which, in turn, will allow you to participate in marketing campaigns, receive an industry e-newsletter, up to date industry information, use the VisitCornwall Approved Inspection Scheme logo on your promotional material, website, etc. We will, also, offer the opportunity to take advantage of funded training and business support opportunities and will ensure that businesses are notified accordingly.
